Liverpool receive major boost after Juve turn attention towards €40m star midfielder William Carvalho
Liverpool have received a major boost following reports linking Juventus with a move for Portugal international William Carvalho.
The Italian outlet Tuttosport has revealed that Juve have turned their attention towards Sporting Lisbon’s star midfielder as an alternative to Emre Can.
Per the source, Juventus will be expected to meet Carvalho’s €40 million release clause if they want to sign him next summer.

The move could strengthen Liverpool’s negotiation position with Emre Can. The 23-year-old has under nine months remaining on his contract with the Merseyside based club.
Contract talks an Anfield have stalled with Can demanding a release clause in his new contract however, Liverpool are refusing to include one in his new deal.
Juventus were closely linked with a move for Can over the summer transfer window. The Turin based club were had a bid rejected by Liverpool but have maintained their interest in the Germany international.
Can is expected to feature this weekend when Liverpool take on Tottenham in the Premier League.
