The former England international Trevor Sinclair has heaped praise on Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil.
Sinclair called Ozil a special player and went onto say that the 27-year-old has been ‘instrumental’ for the Gunners this season.
“I think Ozil is a special player,” Sinclair told 888 (via Express).
“He’s a world cup winner and he’s been very instrumental in Arsenal’s play this year.”
Ozil has 16 assists in the Premier League this season and is just four assists away from matching Henry’s record record tally of 20.
The 27-year-old’s 100th game for the north London based club ended in a disappointing defeat. Arsenal have now slipped down to third place and are just two points ahead of their bitter rivals Tottenham.
Arsenal take on Burnley in the FA Cup this weekend and Southampton in the Premier League next week.
