Liverpool have not lost a Premier League game in which Can has started in defence.

The 21-year-old was signed from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer as a central midfielder.

Rodgers has however, used Can primarily as a defender this season.

Can has one goal and one assist in 27 appearances in all competitions this season for Liverpool.
