Manchester City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has reached out to his international teammate Emre Can to wish the Liverpool star a happy birthday.
Can – who turned 24 on Friday – is expected to start when Liverpool host Man City in the Premier League on Sunday.
Gundogan congratulated his Germany national team teammate on his birthday and stated that he will see him on Sunday.
The 26-year-old has established himself in Pep Guardiola’s City squad in recent weeks after recovering from a serious knee injury.
“Congrats to this young fella on the right! Hope you have a great b-day @ec2323! See you on sunday my friend!”
