Şanlıurfaspor in talks with Muhammed Demirci

PTT 1. League side Şanlıurfaspor are in talks to loan Besiktas’s young midfielder Muhammed Demirci until the end of the season. Demirci is currently on the hunt for a new club after being sent back to Besiktas from Turkish second division side Gaziantep BB.

The 20-year-old’s agent Ahmet Bulut has stated that there are clubs interested in loaning the former Barcelona target.

“There are a couple clubs are interested however, my client is only in talks with Şanlıurfaspor,” Bulut told Fanatik.

Şanlıurfaspor are currently in fifth place in the PTT 1. League with 27 points from 16 games.

The Turkey U20 international has one and a half years remaining on his contract with the Eagles.

Gaziantep BB decided to terminate the young midfielders contract following a string of disappointing displays.

Karsiyaka are also believed to be interested in loaning Besiktas player.

Demirci made one assist in 14 appearances for Gaziantep BB in all competitions.
