Trabzonspor 0-0 Basaksehir: Istanbul minnows suffer blow in title race
Basaksehir suffered a blow in the title race after being held to a goalless draw against Trabzonspor.
The Istanbul minnows went into the game five points behind league leaders Besiktas after the Black Eagles beat Kasimpasa 4-1 on Saturday.

Basaksehir were able to close the gap to four points but if Besiktas win next week they will be crowned champions regardless of other results.
The draw was also disappointing result for Trabzonspor who fell into sixth-place behind Antalyaspor.
The Black Sea based side can no longer finish in the top-four.
The fairy tale could finally be over for Basaksehir however, there are still two games remaining and just four points separating the two teams.
Abdullah Avci’s side are however, almost certain to book a Champions League place for the first time in the history of the club.
Basaksehir could also win a trophy in the top-tier for the first time when they take on Konyaspor in the Turkish Cup final.
