Vitor Pereira has arrived in Istanbul ahead of talks with Fenerbahçe.
The Portuguese coach landed landed at the Atatürk Istanbul airport earlier today and was greeted by Fenerbahçe sporting director Giuliano Terraneo.
Pereira was reported to have reached an agreement-in-principle with Fenerbahçe yesterday according to Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
The 46-year-old coach won the league title with Greek giants Olympiakos last season but is expected to leave the club.
Pereira will take charge of Portuguese internationals Bruno Alves and Raul Meireles if he takes over the Istanbul giants.
The Portuguese coach had also been closely linked with a move to Scottish giants Rangers according to the Daily Record.
The Yellow Canaries were unable to beat bitter rivals Galatasaray to the league title last season but finished as runners up and booked a place in the Champions League play-off stages.
Fenerbahçe will feature in European competition for the first time in two seasons after serving their UEFA suspension.
