Semih Kaya
The ‘Iceman’ as he is known to the Galatasaray faithful may look 34 but he is actually 24. Still a youngster in centre-back terms Kaya does have a lot of experience playing at the highest level. The Turkish international defender burst onto the scene in the 2011-12 season under Fatih Terim initially as a temporary solution due to an injury crisis. Kaya soon established himself as one of the most promising players in the team and four seasons on he has three Süper Lig titles and two Turkish Cups to his name. The Galatasaray star has also played in the Champions League for the past three consecutive seasons reaching the quarter-finals and second round. Not the tallest defender standing in at 1.82m but he makes up for it with his bravery and tough tackling.
