The Istanbul giants held Arsenal to a goalless draw, beat Tottenham and knocked Liverpool out of the Europa League Round of 32.
The Black Eagles were eventually eliminated at the quarter final stages of the competition against Club Brugge.
Beşiktaş were also in the Süper Lig title race until the last three weeks of the campaign.
Bilic was popular with the fans and the largest fan group Çarşı protested the boards decision not to keep him on when it was revealed that he would be leaving.
