Man Utd’s Van Persie calls on Fenerbahce fans to fill the stadium ahead of signing ceremony

Robin Van Persie will complete his move from Fenerbahçe to Manchester United today at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium in-front of his new fans.

The 31-year-old striker took to Twitter to call on Fenerbahçe supporters to meet him at the stadium.

The Netherlands internationals appears to have already picked up the local lingo as he wrote the message in Turkish.

The tweet translates to: “My deal Fenerbahçe fans we will meet today at the signing ceremony at 18:00 at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium. I hope to see you all.”
