West Ham are the Premier League kings of the road having won all three of their away game and the victories have all come against some of the leagues giants – Arsenal, Liverpool and most recently Manchester City.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic does of course had a lot of experience playing away games over the past two seasons as Beşiktaş did not play a single home game under his stewardship due to their stadium being rebuilt.
Bilic’s assistant coach Edin Terzic was quoted as saying in the Milliyet newspaper: “What we learned in Istanbul is how to play away games.”
As a result Bilic was effectively a footballing nomad for two years constantly travelling to different stadiums as the Black Eagles failed to secure a temporary stadium for the course of the two seasons.
Beşiktaş had the best away record last season under the management of Bilic recording 37 points from 17 games.
The Istanbul giants reached the Europa League quarter-finals last season beating Tottenham and knocking Liverpool out of the Round of 32 along the way.
West Ham currently have the joint best away record in the league alongside Manchester City.
