Nottingham Forest join Sheffield United in race to sign ‘Turkish Messi’
Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move for the ‘Turkish Messi’ Erhun Oztumer.
According to the Nottingham post, the Reds are among several clubs interested in the Turkish midfielder.
Per the source Bristol City, Sheffield United and Bolton Wanderers are also interested in signing the Turkish midfielder.
Oztumer has been in impressive from for Walsall this season with 15 goals and seven assists.

The 25-year-old has been dubbed as the ‘Turkish Messi’, due to his stunning dribbling ability.
Oztumer made the move to Walsall from Peterborough United on a free transfer last summer.
The midfielder will have just 12 months remaining on his contract at the end of the season and has yet to sign a new deal with his current club.
Nottingham Forest narrowly avoided relegation this season following a 3-0 win over Ipswich last weekend. The Reds ended the season with 51 points after 46 games.
Oztumer previously played for non-league Dulwich Hamlet, Sivasspor and Anadolu Üsküdar.
