Tottenham team news: Pochettino without star midfielder against Dortmund, German giants have Nuri Sahin available
Tottenham take on Borussia Dortmund in their opening Champions League clash at Wembley on Wednesday.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will be without star midfielder Victor Wanyama who is out with a knee injury.
Mousa Dembele could however, return to the starting line-up on Wednesday after suffering a knock at Goodison Park.
Dortmund captain Marcel Schmelzer and defender Marc Bartra are not likely to play after picking up injuries at the weekend.
Schmelzer is expected to be out for six weeks while Bartra is a doubt for the Group H opener with a muscular problem in his leg.
Dortmund are facing an injury crisis with Marco Reus, Raphael Guerreiro, Andre Schurrle, Erik Durm and Sebastian Rode all ruled out.

The German giants will have Turkish international duo Nuri Sahin and Omer Toprak available.
Sahin has been in great form for Dortmund and is currently the third best rated player in the Bundesliga according to Whoscored.
Tottenham and Dortmund have played twice before with the Bundesliga outfit running out 5-1 victors on aggregate to reach the 2015-16 Europa League final.
