Manchester United target Ilkay Gundogan delighted to be back in the Germany squad

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gündoğan has returned to the Germany national team squad for their upcoming matches with Australia and Georgia, much to the delight of Joachim Low.

The 24-year-old has not featured for Germany since August 2013.

Gündoğan posted a image of himself on twitter along with the caption, “I’m verry happy to be back @DFB_Team after 1.5 years!  Thanks to everyone who believed in me and supported me!!”

Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all expressed an interest in Gündoğan.

According to the Daily Star, United are preparing a €28 million bid for the German international.

Gündoğan has four assists and two goals in 22 appearances for Dortmund this season.
