Real Madrid have been linked with a surprise move for Borussia dortmund’s midfielder Ilkay Gündoğan.
According to Bild, Real Madrid are one of the clubs mentioned that would be willing to meet the 24-year-old’s wage demands.
Gündoğan also recently revealed that Dortmund had rejected an offer from Real Madrid last season.
The Germany international turned down €125,000-a-week offer from Dortmund according to the German tabloid Bild. The 24-year-old is seeking an increase on Dortmund’s offer at the next club he joins.

The wage demands were too high for Bayern Munich who have subsequently pulled out of the race to sign Gündoğan.
Manchester United and fellow Premier League outfit Arsenal have also been closely linked with the 24-year-old over the past week according to the Daily Mail.
Barça Blaugranes have stated that Barcelona are in talks with the Dortmund star but there is still disagreement over the transfer fee.
Gündoğan has four assists and three goals in 31 appearances for Dortmund this season.
