Beşiktaş president Fikret Orman has confirmed interest in Dnipro midfielder Konoplyanka and revealed he has personally scouted the player three times.
“I have watched him play myself three times this is the nature of what we do but there is no deal in place now and we are also interested in other players,” Orman told TRT.
“The fans must remain calm we will act within our means.”
Konoplyanka has been closely linked with the Black Eagles but he also is on the radar of Liverpool and stated that he wants to play in England.
“My priority is to play in England,” Konoplyanka was quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
“There is where I want to continue my career and I am going to do it.”

The Ukrainian international scored eight goals and provided seven assists in all competitions last season. The 25-year-old winger is out of contract and can be signed on a free transfer.
Beşiktaş are currently manager by Şenol Güneş who replaced Slaven Bilic as head coach last week.
The Black Eagles finished last season in third position and booked a place in the Europa League group stages next season.
