Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to congratulate his former teammate Iker Casillas on his move to Porto from Real Madrid
The 26-year-old played alongside Casillas during his three-year spell at Real Madrid.
Casillas,who had a year remaining on his contract, leaves the Madrid giants after 25 years. The experienced keeper won three Champions Leagues and five Liga titles during his time at Madrid.

The former Real Madrid man has also made a record 162 caps for the Spanish national team and has won two European Championships and the World Cup.
Ozil tweeted a selfie which includes Casillas along with the caption, “Iker my friend, I wish you all the best and many more titles at FC Porto!!!”

Casillas kept 20 clean sheets and conceded 46 goal in 47 appearances for Real Madrid this season.
Ozil made a 105 appearances for Real Madrid alongside Casillas between 2010 and 2013. The Germany international went onto join Arsenal for £42.4 million.
