Germany national team manager Joachim Low has heaped praise on Liverpool’s Emre Can.
The World Cup winning coach admitted they are monitoring the 21-year-old who could make his senior debut in the near future.
“Emre Can from Liverpool is someone we’re following,” Low was quoted as saying by Bola.
“He’s a very interesting player. Technically strong, versatile, shows good body language. He has a good, all-round game.”
Can put on an impressive display playing in midfield for the Germany U-21 side in the 2015 U-21 European Championships.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man scored in his sides first group game and provided an assist in the second. Can played in midfield during the competition.
The 21-year-old spent last season playing in a three-back and at right-back despite being signed as a midfielder from Bayer Leverkusen.
Can man made a total of 27 appearances for the Premier League outfit this season and also featured in the FA Cup and Europa League.
