Trabzonspor on-loan winger Marko Marin made his first start for his new club against Galatasaray in the Turkish Super League.
The Germany international provided Trabzonspor with their main attacking threat and almost put his side ahead on 58 minutes when his shot aided by a deflection from Semih Kaya hit the crossbar.
Marin made the highest number of key passes for his team and the joint highest alongside Yasin Öztekin in the game (3).
The 26-year-old setup teammate Erkan Zengin with a well timed cross in the second half which the Swedish international somehow managed to miss – again hitting the crossbar.

Marin already has one assist for the Black Sea Storm having setup Oscar Cardozo with the winning goal against Kayserispor last week.
The Germany international joined Trabzonspor on-loan over the summer becoming the second Blues player to join the Super League on a temporary move – the other being Kenneth Omeruo of Kasımpaşa.
Trabzonspor remain in first place following the defeat on 10 points but Fenerbahçe could move three points clear with a win against Bursaspor today.
