Fenerbahçe winger Lazar Markovic will miss up to three-weeks after tearing a thigh muscle according to the Milliyet.
The on-loan Liverpool winger started his second consecutive game for Fenerbahçe in the Istanbul derby yesterday but had his match cut short after sustaining an injury on 37 minutes.
Markovic got off to a great start against Beşiktaş and caused the opposition problems with his pace, forward runs and dribbling ability.
The Serbian international actually made the highest number of dribbles in the game (6) despite having his game cut short after just 37 minutes due to injury.
One of his many dribbles actually whipped up a social media storm. The 21-year-old stormed through the middle of the pitch past half the Black Eagles side before setting up Fernandao with an accurate cross that the Brazilian would have converted had he timed his run better.
Markovic joined Liverpool on a £17.5 million transfer from Benfica last summer but struggled to settle in at the Reds.
