Liverpool fans are being impatient with Brendan Rodgers says Slaven Bilic

Liverpool fans are being impatient with Brendan Rodgers according to West Ham boss Slaven Bilic.

The Hammers head coach believes that the Premier League used to be far more patient but has now become like most of southern Europe regarding managerial positions.

“5-10 years ago it was not like this but now England is like Croatia, Turkey, Italy and other souther European countries in being impatient with managers,” Bilic told Turish sports newspaper Fanatik.

“Look at Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool were good in their first three games then we beat them 3-0 and he was really badly criticised which is a bit unfair.”

Liverpool are currently 9th in the Premier League on 11 points after seven games.

Bilic has a great record against Rodgers having also knocked the Reds out of the Europa League Round of 32 when he was in charge of Beşiktaş last season.

The Croatian manager also guided West Ham to a 3-0 win over Rodgers’ Liverpool in the Premier League at Anfield. The victory was the Hammers first away to Liverpool since 1963.

Bilic did of course have a lot of practice to perfect his away game having spent the last two seasons at the Istanbul giants without a home stadium.

Beşiktaş had the best away record in the league under Bilic and West Ham currently have the best form on the road in the Premier League having also beat Arsenal and Manchester City.
