Arsenal sent scouts to watch Beşiktaş winger Gökhan Töre live during the Europa League clash against Sporting Lisbon midweek according to Habertürk.
Fanatik went onto claim that Arsenal have been keeping close tabs on the explosive winger and could be eyeing a move over the winter break.
Töre is of course no stranger to the Premier League having initially made a name for himself as a Chelsea youth under the stewardship of Frank Arnesen.
The Turkish international joined the Chelsea academy as a youth and was a star of the FA Youth Cup winning side of 2010. Töre parted ways with the Blues in 2011 to join HSV along with former Chelsea head of youth development Frank Arnesen.
Töre later had a brief stint at Rubin Kazan before finding his feet at Beşiktaş under the management of current West Ham boss Slaven Bilic.
The 23-year-old scored nine times and provided 11 assists last season in all competitons for the Black Eagles.
The Beşiktaş star already has five assist and one goal in six league games for the Istanbul giants this season.
