Emre Can has returned to Liverpool to train under his clubs new manager Jurgen Klopp for the first time.
The 21-year-old was a key member of the squad under Brendan Rodgers but played the predominately in defence despite being signed as a midfielder from Bayer Leverkusen last year.
Adam Lallana, Danny Ings, Nathaniel Clyne, Emre Can and Adam Bogdan have rejoined the squad following international duty and featured in Tuesday afternoon’s training session, their first under new boss Klopp.
Brendan Rogers was recently sacked as Liverpool manager and Germany coach Jurgen Klopp was recently appointed as his replacement.
Klopp has signed a three-year deal worth £15 million which works out at £5 million per-season but he could earn up to £7 million with bonuses included.
Can will be coached by a manager other than Rodgers for the first time in his Liverpool career but he did state that Klopp is a manager who has proven himself in a recent interview.
