Arsenal star Mesut Ozil thanked his fans for wishing him a happy 27th birthday via his Instagram account.
The Gunners playmaker turned 27 today and shared a picture on social media blowing out candles on his birthday cake.
Ozil added the following caption alongside the picture: “One year older yet again! Thank you all so much for your birthday messages! Here’s to another great year…”
The World Cup winner joined Arsenal on a record breaking £42.5 million move from Real Madrid in 2013 and has already won two FA Cup trophies and the Community Shield trophy.
Ozil has four assists and one goal in all competition for the Gunners this season and is expected to start for Watford on the weekend in the Premier League.
Arsenal are currently second in the league just two points behind league leaders Manchester City who are in first place.
