Arsenal kept their Champions League hopes alive with a 2-0 victory over German giants Bayern Munich at the Emirates.

The Gunners had their Champions League campaign off to a poor start following defeats against both Dynamo Zagreb and Olympiakos.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger decided to start with Petr Cech in goal over David Ospina despite the Colombian international starting in the first two games in the competition.

Olivier Giroud was brought on in the second half and opened the scoring for Arsenal. The Frenchman now has four consecutive goals as a substitute.

Mesut Özil wrapped up a memorable win just before the final whistle when he converted Bellarin’s cross.
