Liverpool take on Southampton in the Premier League today hoping for their first win under the stewardship of Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds have drawn both games Klopp has been in charge of since replacing Brendan Rodgers over the international break.
Can has started both games under the guide of the new boss and went down in history as the first player to score for Klopp’s side when he put the ball in the back of the net against Rubin Kazan in the Europa League.
The 21-year-old is expected to keep his place in the team and considering he has been deployed in his preferred central midfield role over the last two games it is likely that he will keep his position.
The Reds will be without Sturridge, Danny Ings, Joe Gomez, Jordan Henderson and Jon Flanagan due to injury.
