Arsenal fans react to Mesut Ozil’s staring role in win over Swansea

Mesut Özil featured in Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Swansea City in the Premier League yesterday afternoon.

The Germany international received a rating of 8.13 from whoscored for his role in the win.

Özil took one shot on target, made five key passes and provided two assists. The Germany international maintained a passing accuracy of 90%.

The Gunners remain top of the Premier League table following their win over the Swans at the Liberty stadium.

After a goalless first half Mesut Özil setup Olivier Giroud with the opening goal on 49 minutes.

Koscielny doubled the Gunners lead on 68 minutes and Özil provided his second assist of the day setting up Joel Campbell with his first goal of the season.

Özil now has seven assists in his last five league games – the highest record in the league. The World Cup winner has a total of eight assists and two goals in all competitions this season.
