Manchester United have scouted Hakan Calhanoglu multiple times ahead of a potential transfer according to the Metro.
The German tabloid Bild confirmed that the Red Devils sent scout to monitor the Turkish international during Bayer Leverkusen’s 4-4 draw with Roma in the UEFA Champions League.
TalkSport have also closely linked Arsenal with the 21-year-old Çalhanoğlu.
Çalhanoğlu has been involved in 12 goals in 14 games in European competition according to Opta. The sports statistics website states that the Turkish International has scored six goals and provided six assists in his last 12 games in year.
The highly rated 21-year-old has already scored five goals and provided four assists in all competitions this season. The Bayer play-maker star also has a phenomenal free-kick scoring record – 22 in the Bundesliga alone.
Bayer reportedly want £28.9 million for the Turkish international star who has a contract with the Bundesliga outfit until 2019.
