Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has backed Roberto Firmino to be a hit at Anfield.
Firmino joined the Reds from Hoffenheim over the summer in a £29million deal has had a slow start to his Liverpool career.
The Brazil international has started to showcase his talent in recent weeks following the arrival of Jurgen Klopp.
“He’s a great player, he scored a lot of goals and made a lot in Germany.” Can was quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo.
Firmino is yet to score for Liverpool since joining in the summer and has only one assist to his name.
Emre Can received a rating of 6.89 from Whoscored for his performance during Liverpool’s win over Chelsea.
The 21-year-old made two tackles, two interceptions and one clearance. Can also made two key passes and maintained a passing accuracy of 84%.
