Arsenal take on Tottenham in the Premier League today hoping to end the day as they started it – in first place.
The Gunners host bitter rivals Spurs at the Emirates in the north London derby as league leaders.
Mesut Özil is expected to start for the north London based club after a great run of form providing nine assists in 10 leagues games this season.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could have Mikel Arteta returning to team after a long spell on the sidelines with injury.
The Gunners will however, be without Hector Bellerin who is out injured as is Theo Walcott which could see Joel Campbell return to the starting lineup again.
This will be the second north London derby of the season after Arsenal beat Spurs 2-1 at White Hart Lane in the third-round League Cup clash back in September. The last time Tottenham beat Arsenal away was back in 1993.
