The Reds sit in second place after four games with six points and are yet to suffer a defeat in the competition. Jurgen Klopp’s side can secure their place in the next round with a win against the Ligue 1 side.
Emre Can is expected to be rested against Bordeaux tonight in preparation for this weekends clash with Swansea City.
The 21-year-old played a staring role in Liverpool’s 4-1 victory over Manchester City last weekend.
Klopp is expected to give Kolo Toure, Joe allen and Jordan Ibe a place in the starting line-up.
Bordeaux currently find themselves in third place with three points in four games and know a defeat could eliminate them from the competition.
