Agent says Newcastle & Tottenham target is worth €60m but star striker could be available for as little as €20m

Turkish football agent Fazil Ozdemir believes Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun is now worth €60 million.

Ozdemir did however, underline that Tosun will probably be sold for as little as €20 million.

The agent described Tosun as being a complete striker with all the attributes to succeed at the highest level.

“Cenk has it all, he can score from free-kicks, is brilliant in the air, we all know about his long range shooting and most importantly he is a true professional,” Ozdemir told the Hurriyet newspaper.

“Cenk is worth €60 million in todays market.

“Had he been playing for Porto instead of Besiktas they would want €60 million for him.

“They want €50 million for Aboubakar who played second fiddle to Cenk at Besiktas.

“The reality however, is that Besiktas will probably sell him for as little as €20 million.”

The Tottenham target has also attracted interest from Tottenham and Crystal Palace according to the Sun.

Turkish-Football have reported all three clubs keeping tabs on the 26-year-old for the past few months.

In fact Tosun confirmed that Palace were close to signing him over the summer transfer window.

Tosun told Eren Sarigul of Turkish-Football: “Crystal Palace offered €13.5m on transfer deadline day,” Tosun said. “Had they made the bid a week earlier I would be playing in the Premier League right now. I would only leave Besiktas if I made my club money and if the circumstances are right.”

The Turkish international striker has 10 goals in all competitions for club and country this season.

Tosun has three goals and one assist in the Champions League this season for the Group G leaders.
