Akhisar drew 1-1 with Gençlerbirliği at the 19 Mayıs stadium in Manisa to move into 10th place.
Theofanis Gekas opened the scoring on 67 minutes to give Akhisar the lead. The Greek international striker has now scored 11 goals in 13 games more than any other Süper Lig player this season.
The 34-year-old strikers goal was not enough however, as Tomic equalised on 80 minutes to secure Gençlerbirliği a point.
