Arsenal news: Jens Lehmann rips into Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil
Former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has launched an attack on the Gunners star names following a disappointing run of form.
March has been something out of a nightmare for Arsenal this season. The Gunners crashed out of the UEFA Champions League via a 10-2 aggregate defeat. Arsenal have also lost ground in the race to finish in the top four.
Arsene Wenger’s side are currently in sixth place, six points behind fourth placed Liverpool.
Jens Lehmann believes that the players must take responsibility for their clubs position. The former Germany international has accused Arsenal stars of being soft and of letting their manager down.

“They talk about Sanchez being a big player — but if you are sulking, you can’t be a big player,” Lehmann was quoted as saying by The Sun.
“You must be a big player mentally — not just be good at dribbling.
“There’s always a question with Ozil — how much can he contribute when it gets tough?
“It’s not Mustafi’s fault someone has paid £35m for him. If someone buys me for £35m, the next day I’m not a better player.
“He is giving everything. But sometimes the team concede five, so he has to ask himself if it’s good enough?”
Both Ozil and Alexis Sanchez have under 18-months remaining on their current contracts with Arsenal. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger’s contract also expires this summer.
Arsenal host Manchester City at the Emirates in the next Premier League fixture on April 2.
