Arsenal beat Swansea 3-0 at the Liberty stadium on the weekend to keep their spot at the top of the Premier League table.
Mesut Özil provided two assists in the victory over the Welsh giants to take his overall tally to nine assists in 10 league games.
Özil has provided more assists in Europe’s top five leagues – England, Spain, France, Germany, Italy – than any other player so far this season.
The World Cup winner has also scored against Premier League giants Manchester United and Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The 27-year-old actually has the best ‘games per assist’ record in Premier League history.

Özil has provided 95 assists since August 2008, only Lionel Messi has setup more goals over the same time period (98).
The Gunners take on Bayern Munich next in the Champions League in Germany and Özil is expected to start. Arsenal won their last game against the Germany giants 2-0 at the Emirates.
