Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has stated that he his ready to take on Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League tomorrow.
The Gunners were on the end of a surprise 2-1 defeat at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb in their opening group game and will be looking to make amends against the Greek Champions.
Ozil uploaded an image on Instagram of himself tying up his shoelaces along with the caption, My new footwear fits perfectly well! Now I’m all ready to take on the second matchday of the #UCL #AFCvOLY #ace15 #primeknit #bethedifference @adidasfootball.”
The North London based side secured their forth Premier League win of the season on Saturday which takes them within three points of leaders Manchester United.
Leicester were a goal up after 13 minutes when Jamie Vardy found the back of the net. Arsenal hit back with two goals before the break and Ozil provided the assist for his sides third goal in the 57th minute. Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud scored Arsenal’s two other goals while Vardy score late on for the Foxes.
Özil is expected to start tomorrow in Arsenal’s clash with Olympiacos kick-off is at 19:45.
