Aston Villa ace completes transfer exit after striking two year deal with Super Lig outfit

Aston Villa full-back Aly Cissokho has completed his transfer to Yeni Malatyaspor.

The French defender has signed a two-year deal with the newly promoted Super Lig side.

Cissokho was unveiled in an official signing ceremony on Wednesday.

Turkish-Football first reported that Cissokho had reached an agreement with Malatyaspor a fortnight ago.

The 29-year-old arrived in Turkey yesterday and officially put pen to paper on his new deal today.

The transfer went ahead for a club record £1.3 million.

Cissokho made a total of 58 appearances for Villa during his three-seasons at the Championship outfit.

The full-back first joined Villa on a £3 million move from Valencia in 2014 under the stewardship of Paul Lambert.

The 29-year-old is vastly experience having enjoyed stints at Porto, Lyon and Valencia.

Cissokho will play in the Super Lig for the first time in his career.

The left-back spent last season on loan at Olympiakos last season where he won the Greek league title.
