Aston Villa transfer news: Euro Giants in contact with Villa over star striker
Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack has been linked with a move away from the Villans.
According to the Express, Turkish giants Fenerbahce have established contact with the Championship side over the availability of McCormack.
Fenerbahce are keen to sign a new striker following a poor start to the season. The Yellow Canaries have won just one league game and have already been eliminated from the Europa League.
Furthermore, Robin van Persie suffered a knee injury while on international duty with the Netherlands. The former Man United striker has since stated that he should return to action within three weeks.

Fenerbahce have until September 8 to sign a new striker. The Yellow Canaries have also been linked with a move for Everton striker Oumar Niasse.
McCormack has found himself on the sidelines of Aston Villa’s squad after falling out of favour with manager Steve Bruce.
The 31-year-old has played just 20 minutes of football this season.
