Barcelona are rumoured to be interested in Fenerbahçe striker Robin van Persie and Arsenal star Theo Walcott according to the Guardian transfer rumour column.
The reigning La Liga champions reportedly want to strengthen their squad after a succession of injuries have left the squad lacking quality in depth.
Van Persie added further fuel to the fire when he refused to rule out speculation linking him with a move to the La Liga champions Barcelona in January.
“Nobody know what can happen in the future in Football. I have learnt not to make plans,” Van Persie stated (via Radyospor) when asked about reports linking him with Barcelona.
The former Arsenal striker joined Fenerbahçe from Manchester United on a three-year deal but is reported to be unhappy with manager Vitor Pereira.
Van Persie does however, already have five goals and one assist in all competitions for the Yellow Canaries this season.
Barcelona are currently serving a FIFA transfer ban which will be lifted by the winter break allowing the club to sign and register new players again.
