Beşiktaş target Maxi Pereira is expected to extend his contract with Benfica according to A Bola.
Pereira is reported to have agreed to a one-year extension.
Beşiktaş vice-president Ahmet Nur Çebi recently revealed that they are interested in the Uruguayan international.
“Our first choice is Maxi Pereira,” Çebi said.
“However, there are a lot of clubs interested in him. We are also targetting Linnes.”
The Black Eagles have played much of the season without a right-back due to injuries and a lack of depth.
Beşiktaş have also been linked with Sporting’s Junior Caiçara, Dinamo Zagreb’s Ivo Pinto, Cruzeiro’s Mayke and Udinese’s Cameroon international Nyom.
