Bubacarr Sanneh Completes Move From Anderlecht To Goztepe

Goztepe have completed the signing of Bubacarr Sanneh from Anderlecht on a one-year loan deal.

Sanneh has officially put pen to paper for the Izmir based side.

The 24-year-old was announced as a Goztepe player today on the official club website and photographs were published of him wearing the kit.

The Gambia international previously played for Danish sides Horsens and Midtjylland before joining Anderlecht in 2018.

Sanneh made nine Jupiler Pro League appearances last season for the Belgium giants and featured in six Europa League games.

In total, he made 28 appearances across all competitions but was not first-choice defender in the league.

Goztepe evaded relegation from the Super Lig last season finishing in 15th place just one spot above the drop zone.

The Yellow-Reds were promoted to the Turkish top-tier in summer 2017. The Super Lig outfit are the sole Izmir based club in the Turkish top-flight.

Goztepe take on Antalyaspor at home in their first game of the season on 18 August.
