Barcelona take on Chelsea in the International Championship Cup at the FedEx Field in Maryland.
The La Liga champions will be keen on avoiding back-to-back defeats against Premier League opposition following their 3-1 loss against Manchester United in the previous game.
Barcelona signed Arda Turan on a £24 million transfer from Atletico Madrid a fortnight ago and he would have got the chance to face former teammates Diego Costa, Thibaut Courtois, Falcao and Luis but has been ruled out due to the FIFA transfer ban.
The Champions League title holders are not allowed to register new transfers until January as part of the FIFA restrictions.
Courtois is expected to start for Chelsea in goal and Diego Costa is likely to be in the starting line-up. Jose Mourinho could field a strong side including Oscar, Willian and Kurt Zouma.
