Elazigspor pulled off 22 transfers inside two hours on transfer deadline day, breaking the world record for most deals completed in the shortest space of time in the process.
The Eastern Anatolian based side had a transfer ban imposed on them which was lifted just two hours before the end of the transfer window.
Elazigspor club members and local government officials lobbied the Turkish Football Federation to lift the ban before the end of the window.
Their efforts were successful, the TFF lifted the ban with one hour and twenty minutes remaining.
Elazigspor had already prepared for the possibility of the transfer ban being lifted early but faced the uphill task of completing 22 deals and registering each player before the end of the window.
