Kayseri Erciyesspor have confirmed that Bülent Korkmaz has been sacked by the club.
The Turkish Super League side released a statement on their official website which reads:
“We have parted company with our manager Bülent Korkmaz.”
Korkmaz joined Erciyesspor at the beginning of this season in place of Hikmet Karaman. The 46-year-old manager was in charge for a total of 10 games.
The former Galatasaray player won once, draw six and lost three times. Erciyesspor find themselves 15. place following the 2-1 defeat to Eskisehirspor on Sunday.
According to various Turkish media outlets, the former Konyaspor manager Mesut Bakkal is the front runner to succeed Korkmaz.
