Eskişehirspor can win Turkish Cup says Ertuğrul Sağlam [divider]

Eskişehirspor manager Ertuğrul Sağlam believes his side can win the Turkish Cup.

“Our goal is to reach the Turkish Cup final again but this time we want to lift the cup,” Sağlam said following the 2-1 win over PTT 3. Lig side Balçova.

“We responded well after conceding, we have become more effective going forwards recently and scored a few good goals. 

“But we have a lot of work to do, the players need to fight for the pride of wearing this shirt. 

“I was not really impressed with our performance today and we must improve. 

“The state of the pitch did not help much but it is easy to find blame elsewhere. 

“Winning the three points was important so at least we did that.”

EsEs moved into second place in Group G on six points following the 2-1 win over Balçova.
