Senegal international targeted by Everton & Newcastle reveals he snubbed Premier League offers

Badou Ndiaye was closely linked with a move to the Premier League this summer prior to joining Galatasaray.

Fanatik claimed that Everton were were keeping close tabs on Ndiaye while West Ham had an offer rejected by his former club Osmanlispor.

Newcastle United were also linked with a move for the Senegal international according to SkySports.

Ndiaye ended up being snapped up by Galatasaray on a €7.5 million move.

The 26-year-old told Sozcu: “There were offers from England but when Galatasaray made there bid that was it, I decided to join. 

“I had a great season in Turkey and I believe in their project. 

“I want to show Galatasaray fans why I chose them.”

Ndiaye signed a four-year deal with the Lions worth €2.75 million per-season. In total he stands to make €11 million over the course of his contract.

The midfielder could earn an additional €1.5 million if he plays a total of 75 games in the league, cup and European competitions.

Additionally Ndiaye stands to make €5000 per-point in every league and European competition game played.

Osmanlispor signed NDiaye from Norwegian outfit Glimt for just €350,000 two years ago.

The powerful midfielder had an impressive season last campaign scoring seven goals in 42 appearances for the Ankara based outfit.
