Fans take to social media to react to £30m Tottenham star Moussa Sissoko link with Turkish giants

Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko has been linked with a move to the Turkish Super League in recent weeks.

According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Trabzonspor and Tottenham are in talks over the France international.

Per the source the two parties have reached an agreement for a loan deal after lengthy talks.

Sissoko joined Tottenham on transfer deadline days last summer for a lofty £30 million. However, the powerful midfielder has failed to make any sort of lasting positive impact for his side.

Turkish-Football previously reported Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta claiming that talks have already begun with Sissoko.

“We are in talks with Moussa Sissoko,” Usta was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.

“We want to loan him and get his career back on track.”

Trabzonspor fans appeared pretty pleased with the news but Tottenham fans do not seem to have many kind words for Sissoko.

News of Sissoko’s departure has excited Trabzonspor fans. We took to Twitter to see messages from supporters regarding the speculation.

Is he on his way to Turkey? well the reports that he is actually in Turkey are obviously not true.

There appear to be quite a few Spurs fans not too bothered if he leaves.

I smell sarcasm.

Trabzonspor are keen on a marquee signing to celebrate their 50th year anniversary. Sissoko provided four assists in 34 appearances for Spurs in all competitions last season.

The former Newcastle star may opt to leave Tottenham this summer to improve his chances of making the France national team for the 2018 World Cup.
