Fenerbahce set to make Arsenal target Iker Casillas offer

Fenerbahçe are set to make Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas an offer according to El Mundo.

The Spanish international keeper is expected to leave Real Madrid after spending 16 years at the La Liga giants.

Casillas won five league titles, three Champions Leagues and two Spanish cups during his time at the club.

HaberTürk sports chief editor Faik Çetiner added fuel to the transfer rumours when he tweeted that Fenerbahçe will sing a foreign keeper earlier today.

Arsenal have also been closely linked with the Spanish international star keeper recently following speculation that he will leave Real Madrid according to the Daily Star.

Fenerbahçe are currently without a manager following the resignation of Ismail Kartal.

Portuguese coach Vitor Pereira is expected to take over and is in Istanbul currently holding talks with the board.

Fenerbahçe finished the league season in second place and booked a place in the Champions League play-off stages.
