Financial Details For €16m Stoke City Transfer Revealed By Galatasaray On Stock Exchange

Stoke City completed the signing of Senegal international Badou Ndiaye from Super Lig giants Galatasaray for 16m euros (£14m).

The 27-year-old has agreed a four-and-a-half year contract with the Potters.

Galatasaray released an official statement on the stock exchange confirming the deal and disclosing the financial details.

The statement read: “Stoke City have completed the transfer of Papa Alioune Ndiaye for €16 million. Additionally, Galatasaray will receive 15 percent of any future transfer.”

The Lions will receive 15 percent of the transfer fee if Stoke decide to sell Ndiaye on in the future.

Ndiaye handed in his transfer request on Friday before leaving the Galatasaray Florya training grounds.

Fatih Terim dropped Ndiaye from the squad that beat Osmanlispor over the weekend.

The Lions later revealed that they received several offers for the powerful midfielder.

Ndiaye scored once in 17 games for the Istanbul giants having joined on a four-year deal in from Osmanlispor last summer for a reported fee of 7.5m euros (£6.6m).

The 27-year-old is expected to be in the Senegal squad for the World Cup in Russia.
