Galatasaray have joined the race for Fenerbahce midfielder Mehmet Topal according to AMK.
Topal is currently available on a free transfer but Fenerbahce are keen on the Turkish international midfielder signing a contract extension.
The Yellow Canaries have however, been unable to agree terms with the defensive midfielder known as the ‘Spider’.
Topal is no stranger to Galatasaray have played for the Lions between 2006-2010 before his move to Valencia.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is keen on brining in Topal on a free transfer according to Fotospor.
United and Galatasaray could however, face competition from Tottenham who the Fanatik claim already have an agreement-in-principle in place with Topal.
Topal has also attracted interest from Spain with Europa League winners Sevilla reported to be in the race as well as Greek giants Olympiakos.
The experienced midfielder is currently on international duty and is expected to feature as a defender for Turkey in Euro 2016 this summer.
